USA! USA! We're Number 1: In Dildocks and Know-Nothings
America; we sure do have the market cornered on Dildocks, Know-Nothings, and Meatheads.
P.T. Barnum may never have uttered the phrase "there's a sucker born every minute and two to take him", but someone sure did, and they knew America alright.
While the story about Barnum appears to be apocryphal, it did come into early usage among assorted American gamblers and con artists.
Now, America has elevated the country's biggest modern day confidence trickster to the highest office in the land.
How did this happen? Dildocks, Know-Nothings, and Meatheads. Rubes. The glorification of the white American mom who has been so deified by the Christian right and Madison avenue (what a team!) that she now believes expertise and education are way overrated and stand defenseless in the face of a woman who did what untold billions since the beginning of time have done; squeeze out a baby.
Because "mom's just know".
She married a meathead and then raised two or three meatheads with him. Resulting in a meathead palapalooza that gives us thoughtful, educated, and deep comments like these:
"demonrats logic. Move the goal post for their uneducated agenda"
"The rats did all this work to overhype the china cheese touch just to lose in court."
"There is something seriously wrong with you if “God Bless the U.S.A.” By Lee Greenwood doesn’t give you the chills everytime its played"
"Covid is a load of bullshit and demonrats try to blame trump which is funny. On January 30th he banned travel on china and piglosi and other uneducated demonrats called him racist for it."
"These are facts and not my opinion"
"i took care of her stupidity, i really hate when people try to debate me on the china cheese touch. They lose everytime."
"its amazing how demonrats just ignore every fact i brought up. Biden is not the President now, wont be next year and wont be for the next 4 years. When i debate i use facts and context. Why do demonrats hate facts so much??"
I added the Greenwood comment in there because the glorification of that fraud always cracks me up. Greenwood sat out the Vietnam War on a "hardship" deferment". So when he says he'll gladly stand up beside you and defend "her" once again, he means he'll gladly watch you go to war while he writes a money-making song about it. Once again.
Republicans are so funny. It would be difficult to win a debate against the stunningly erudite onslaught of "you DemonRat! ME WIN!".
But underneath this staggering stupidity is something downright evil. Here is the clip from Diary of a Wimpy Kid the "cheese touch" comment is from:
Imagine you lost someone to Covid. And maybe you don't have to imagine, maybe you have. Or maybe you had it and became very ill, and are still struggling with resulting issues. And a bunch of meatheads are making fun of this deadly virus and comparing it to a cartoon. I often feel that some people are very lucky I haven't lost anyone to Covid. I know many of these people, they're in my family. And I know what would happen if I personally died from Covid, which could absolutely happen. They would say it's a shame but "she ate too much cheesecake".
They would actually throw me, a close family member, under the bus, in order to fluff the conman. These dangerous young white people have been raised by the great American Know-Nothings, and this was the result.
I will admit one thing: Trump may be an evil buffoon but he's a master confidence man:
"A confidence trick is an attempt to defraud a person or group after first gaining their trust. Confidence tricks exploit victims using their credulity, naïveté, compassion, vanity, irresponsibility, and greed. Researchers have defined confidence tricks as "a distinctive species of fraudulent conduct ... intending to further voluntary exchanges that are not mutually beneficial", as they "benefit con operators ('con men') at the expense of their victims (the 'marks')"
The Trump con family is now raising money from these idiots, which they think is going to fight the "demonrats" who "stole" the election. But what they're really doing is donating to pay off Trump campaign debt. For just one example, Trump owes the America people:
"When Mr. Trump himself travels on Air Force One for political travel, the campaign must reimburse taxpayers for its use. As of the end of September, the single largest debt that Mr. Trump’s campaign owed was to the Treasury Department: $670,000."
Trump ain't paying that; no Trump pays their bills. We know this. But his rubes are paying it.
310 million (so far!) of Trump Campaign funds cannot be accounted for because it went through limited liability firms. Gee, I wonder who owns them! LOL
The Know-Nothings get fleeced while ranting about DemonRats. If I didn't believe that this conman is a clear and present danger to American democracy, I would only be laughing my ass off. As it is, I'm partly laughing my ass off.
But the other part of me is worried. He's got a cult who truly believe the media is corrupt and lying, all democrats are corrupt and lying, the medical profession are corrupt and lying, and the only man in the entire country who isn't corrupt and whom you can believe is the lifelong failure and conman, Donald Trump.
Cults are always dangerous. This one moreso.
Believe me I'm staying away from these nutters and home for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. First of all, the idea of one of their meatheads calling me a demonrat wouldn't fly. I carry mace for a reason, and macing your Know-Nothing family friends on Christmas would lead to paperwork. You just know they'd call the cops. And I loathe paperwork.
The problem is avoidance is not a solution. Trump will eventually leave, or die, and these meatheads, dildocks, and know-nothings will still be here. Like the mindless scrotums they are, they'll suckle onto the next confidence man, whether it be Tom Cotton or Tucker Carlson. I personally doubt it will be Jr. because I see him Breitbarting himself before long.
So what's the solution? I don't know what the solution for the country is, but for individuals there are measures of control we can take. Emotional distance is the first answer, and quite frankly, physical distance the second. Boundaries are everything. Make them. Stick to them. If there is someone who refuses to respect them, get rid of them. No matter who they are. They have to go.
